Brands We Install
Amarr — Our most-installed brand. Local warehouse in the Portland area, which means faster availability and shorter lead times. Wide selection of styles, colors, and insulation levels. You may have seen their doors at Costco — well-known, US-made, reliable.
C.H.I. (CHI) — US-made with excellent quality. No local warehouse, but they run deliveries every two weeks. CHI has a great online design tool that lets you build out your door with different panel styles, colors, and window options before you commit.
Northwest Door (Hormann) — Local warehouse available. Quality US-made product. We use NWD for specific styles or situations where they’re the best fit for the job.
What Does a New Garage Door Cost?
Pricing depends on door size, insulation level, window options, track configuration, and color. Every job is different, which is why we offer free in-home estimates on all new garage doors. But here are realistic ballpark ranges so you know what to expect:
Single car door (8×7):
| Option | Price Range (Installed) |
|---|
| Non-insulated (1-layer) | Starting around $1,500 |
| 2-layer insulated | Mid-range |
| 3-layer insulated (R-9.65) | $1,999 – $3,000 |
| Add premium woodgrain color | + $850 |
Double car door (16×7):
| Option | Price Range (Installed) |
|---|
| 3-layer insulated (R-9.65) | $2,950 – $4,500 |
We also install 9×8 and 16×8 doors, which are common in Portland’s older neighborhoods and newer builds with taller openings. Custom sizes, wood overlay, and oversized doors are quoted on a per-project basis — schedule a free estimate and we’ll measure and price it out for you.
All prices include removal and haul-away of your old door, installation, and hardware.
Need a new opener to go with your new door? We install both the same day — most homeowners bundle the two together, and we usually run a promotion on door and opener packages. Ask about current bundle pricing when you schedule your free estimate.
